Matt Ouimet is the president and CEO of Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, a publicly traded company that owns 11 amusement parks in the United States and Canada. Cedar Fair's board named him president in June, 2011. Ouimet took over as the chief executive officer in 2012, when the previous CEO, Richard "Dick" Kinzel, retired on January 2, 2012. He also is a member of the board of Collective Brands, Inc. Ouimet was employed by The Walt Disney Company for 17 years. He served as president of Disney Cruise Line and president of the Disneyland Resort.
